Verkada’s door readers support a wide variety of credentials, including low-frequency proximity cards, high-frequency NFC credentials like Verkada DESFire EV3, and encrypted mobile credentials such as Apple Wallet and Bluetooth.
Employee Badges in Apple Wallet
Employees can simply tap to unlock with their iPhone or Apple Watch. Admins can require the mobile device to be unlocked for added security and easily manage Apple Wallet credentials in Verkada Command.
Encryption at every step
Secure doors and protect your data with state-of-the-art encryption standards. Verkada door readers support MIFARE DESFire EV3 credentials and use Secure Channel OSDP v2 to communicate with the access controller. Sensitive data is encrypted at rest and in transit between the access controller and Command.
Easy to install and manage
The AD34 and AD64 readers are simple to install and let admins see reader connection quality in Verkada Command to monitor performance and flag connectivity issues.
